About your teacher

Hi, I'm Bob — a native English speaker, born and raised in the United States, who's taught learners from 18 countries.

I started teaching after years of watching capable, intelligent people freeze up in English simply because no one had taught them the language they'd actually use — not textbook dialogue, but the phrases native speakers reach for without thinking.

My lessons are built around your goals, whether that's sounding confident in job interviews, following meetings without losing the thread, or just chatting comfortably with English-speaking friends. Every lesson is one-to-one, so the pace and topics are entirely yours.
